170 International Startups to Exhibit Products at Computex 2016

Computex Taipei 2016, the iconic ICT tradeshow in Asia, will be held from May 31 to June 4, focusing on four major themes: IoT (Internet of Thing) Applications (SmarTEX), Innovation and Startups (InnoVEX), Gaming, and Business Solutions, reported China Times on May 30. This year's Computex will also see the participation of 170 startups from around the world, including CareMonkey, Connecterra, Dronamics, iStaging, and Konolas. Besides, international VCs (Venture Capitalists), such as 500 Startups, Acorn Pacific Ventures, and Click Ventures, will also join the panel speeches.

 

In related news, the Central News Agency reported on May 29 that, at this year's Computex, HTC will unveil its first in-house developed VR (Virtual Reality) game for the HTC Vive and brand-new Vive solutions that were co-developed with Allienware, Gigabyte, Intel, Microsoft, MSI, Nvidia and Zotac, showing the company's sustained efforts to build up a VR ecosystem in Taiwan.
